What originally struck me about the schtick was how his money was supposedly based on business ownership but there's never any mention of the organization or any of its employees. The person running it obviously has no experience in such things, only the more general idea of hustling hard to get money and do trashy, gaudy things with it. That sounds right up her alley.
She would also be able to speak in depth about loss prevention because she has an extensive career in shoplifting. He has never been able to go into detail on a private investigator's sources and methods, but you know that she may have stalked enough people to be some kind of amateur expert in that field as well.
