Concerted gradual UFO disclosure effort is underway

BUT the time for disclosure will eventually have to come--it has become obvious that whoever is flying the UFOs are either intentionally or just recklessly exposing their existence to the world at an increasing rate. There are videos or photos nearly every day of UFOs around the world, and in places the U.S. government or even the shadow government hiding the UFO secrets can't control.
So it seems disclosure is a foregone conclusion in the long term and perhaps in the medium term. So in the short term the powers that be need to get people ready. So we need quiet alien contact movies like Arrival. And we need pretty stark news reports that show photos of UFOs, just like this ABC story.
The conclusion is that this ABC story shows too blatantly that China for one is actively promulgating an interest in the UFO mystery. The fact it's airing in the U.S. probably indicates the U.S. government is going along with this plan. The rationale must be social habituation. |

The Times is the Establishment.
They have been neglecting the UFO story for decades, on purpose, probably because they were told to. The Times has established links with the CIA, but that isn't so important except to evidence that the mainstream media has an agenda just the same as the Chinese or Russian media.

In UFO literature, there is a concept of a breakaway civilization. This is usually described as the group of humans who interact with the ETs and have access to their tech. So illuminati kind of stuff, except just more like a secret group or civilization that works out of underground or undersea bases. But typically is considered an extension of the ET hypothesis. I suppose this group could go back millennia or could be more recent.
Separately, I suppose there is an Atlantis theory of UFOs like just an advanced civilization that disappeared from history and decided to isolate themselves or hide their advancement from the rest of us. So just a breakaway group of advanced humans with home grown tech. Seems less likely to me.
