I may be entirely indistinguishable from infinite copies of me, but I am still a distinct entity from them all. When I die, my subjective experience ends, and I see no reason in QM or elsewhere to believe that I (as in, my continuous subjective experience) would somehow transfer over to another copy/boltzmann brain. Those copies are physically elsewhere and have their own experience (even if that experience might be entirely identical to mine.)
Like if you made two identical conscious androids and they somehow lived the exact same life, and then crushed one, why would its consciousness transfer? |
