if you have a ledger nano s i guess the steps are to:
1. make sure "browser support" is turned ON on the ledger nano s. NOTE that if browser support is turned on it wont work through your chrome extension or whatever.
2. go to this link and click link at bottom: https://www.myetherwallet.com/
3. choose ledger nano s and then click connect to ledger nano s
4. use the default "path" it selects and then click the radio button of the eth address where the eth is being held that you want to contribute
5. click unlock your wallet
6. click the + to open the add data dialog box
7. enter the three #s (data / gas limit / to address)
7A. gas limit should be changed to 250000 7B. what is the 'data' number exactly? is it the "account address" that is on the left of the myetherwallet screen? I think that's what it is since the beginning portion of it defaults into the data box. 7C. to address - presumably we received this tomorrow when the sale starts
8. enter the "amount to send" (i'll probably just send all 133 ETH i'm gonna have in my wallet)
9. click generate transaction
does this sound right? |
