The US market is at an all time high.
My only recent investment is in international which has been flat or declining.
ETH is under $300. I may consider buying $10k worth of ETH when it’s under $100 for shits and giggles.

Yes there will be a downturn at some point in the future. Thanks for your incredible insight. What no one knows is when and how to properly time to the market to avoid it, which is why we make fun of Julia. Therefore I do not do idiotic things like pull money out of the market when there are minor corrections. S&P not even at feb 2018 levels yet. Not sure why everyone is freaking out.

I hope you went all cash when the market “crashed” to June 2018 prices! Get out while you still can.

Stocks on Track for Best Year Since 2013
With one full trading day left in 2019, the benchmark S&P 500 has surged 29%

U.S. stocks are poised for their best annual performance in six years, driven by the big technology companies that have led the decadelong bull market run.
An improving economic outlook, progress between the U.S. and China on trade negotiations and three interest-rate cuts by the Federal Reserve have boosted investors’ confidence that the expansion can continue.
With one full trading day left in 2019, the benchmark S&P 500 has surged 29%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite has risen 35%. Both indexes are set for their biggest gains since 2013 when they climbed 30% and 38%, respectively.
STOCKS TO WATCH
Disney, Tesla, Michaels Cos.
The 30-stock Dow Jones Industrial Average has increased 22%--its best performance since 2017. All three indexes are trading within 1% of their highest-ever levels.
Driven mostly by a midyear shift in monetary policy at the Fed, stocks surged in the second half of the year, with the indexes hitting a series of record highs and investors enjoying one of their best years this decade.
“When the Fed is doing what they’re doing, everything looks good,” said Peter Boockvar, the chief investment officer at wealth-management firm Bleakley Advisory Group.
Major indexes started the year deep in a hole after a two-month selloff to end 2018. It took the S&P 500 six months to definitively erase the 2018 selloff. Since then, the gains have been broad, with every sector rising sharply.
The information-technology sector has been the biggest beneficiary of the buying frenzy. The sector has risen 48% this year, by far the largest gain among the index’s 11 sectors. It comprised 31% of the S&P 500’s total return for 2019, according to data as of Friday from S&P Dow Jones Indices.
Nearly half of those gains came from Apple Inc. and Microsoft Corp. , up 86% and 59%, respectively.
The glad tidings were interrupted Monday, though. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 0.4%, the S&P 500 fell 0.4% and the Nasdaq Composite lost 0.5%.

Equities overseas were mixed. In Asia, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.2% and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was up 0.3%. Japan’s Nikkei 225 fell 0.8%. In Europe, the pan-continental Stoxx Europe 600 declined 0.8%.
For once, it appeared that U.S. markets were actually following the lead of overseas markets, Mr. Boockvar said. “Our market ignored some profit-taking in other markets and today it caught up with some people,” he said.
The 2019 rally hasn’t been limited to U.S. stocks. The Stoxx Europe 600 has gained 23% this year and is on course for its best performance in a decade. China’s Shanghai is up 22%. The Nikkei 225 is up 18%.
Gold futures are up 18% this year. U.S. crude oil is about 36%. The S&P 500 U.S. Treasury Bond Current 10-Year Index is up 9.1% this year. Even a market as usually quiet as muni bonds have been hot; the S&P Municipal Bond Index up 7.3% this year.
