So the problem my store is having now, due to the recent events, is we are hesitant to call security or police/ medical when homeless people spend long periods of time in the restroom and wont come out... an obviously mentally ill homeless man came into the store and we gave him the bathroom code. He stayed in the restroom for 40 minutes until we went to check on him. He said he was throwing up.... so we waited like 20 more minutes at which point i would have already had security come in to help out or have security just call the police/medical because we were pretty sure he wasnt sick anyways, which turned out to be true. He was organizing his rock and stick collection and taking a bath in the sink/toilet making it smell horrid.

today my shift was doing a lobby walk and she went to go check the bathrooms to restock and whatnot, and guess what she saw in the men’s room? A GUY TAKING NUDES IN THE MIRROR. the people of Starbucks are something else

We were about to close the lobby and was going to close the bathrooms and this homeless guy forgot to lock the door and we just saw him taking a shower in our bathroom.. he was fully naked..

Seriously. If you don’t feel well it’s okay. If you clog up the whole plumbing process at least let someone know it’s a problem before a un suspecting customer goes in there after you. Be respectful. Really.

Tldr; lady comes in, wants to be angry, directs anger towards me, cheap shot about the bias training comes out. I speak up, she shuts up.

C: "Excuse me is there a Key for the rest room?!"

Me: "Yes, there is. However, I'm afraid we only have the one key at the moment, the other key we had went missi..."

C: "It's outrageous! I thought you just had training about this?!"

Me: "You're right..."

C: "WELL it ObVioUSly didn't WORK!?!"

Me: "I'm sorry: that's not the situation. I apologise for the inconvenience, we really do only have the one key right now unfortunately. We did have two, one went missing, I'm sure the person ahead of you will be right out"

C: "Well you should make another one, have another key cut!!!"

Me: "You're right, we actually do have one on order. I'm sorry I can't be of more help right now."

C: walks away having no other pointless points to make

So we have a regular who’s handicapped who uses our bathroom everyday to change his adult diaper and throws it away in the bathroom trash . It smells terrible to the point of other customers instantly complaining about it and then we have to send someone in the middle of a rush to deal with this very unpleasant chore . Any of your stores have a sign around the toilet asking to not leave dirty diapers ? I know I’ve seen similar things in public restrooms but my supervisor is not sure it would fly with Starbucks .
