Appraently people in Singapore are mad that all of the main characters have Brit accents, only some of the side characters have real Singapore accents (and probably because it sounds goofy as fuck) |

It really does paint everyone in Singapore horribly, though. Seems like more of a dig at Singapore/it’s values than anything else.
Agree that awkwafina doing a Joan rivers impression was the funniest part of the movie. |
