Date: February 9th, 2019 11:33 AM Author: Judgmental stain The thing about Clique is that its most overt, obvious enforcement is in middle school/high school, and we all know what that looks like, before adulthood and its various indignities coaxes people into a sort of denial as a coping mechanism. At the same time, Clique and its implications are actually more strict in adulthood than they are in adolescence. For the typical blue-pilled bro it's easy enough to just bury his head in the sand because people are somewhat less confrontational about explaining to Losers how & why they suck in adulthood. The purest manifestation of Clique imo is the job interview, where one's destiny is all but decided in .5 seconds, the instant he walks into the room and his Clique is inferred. Like some liberal artist who goes to Emory or something and leverages inflated liberal arts GPA into some sort of post-bacc that also inflates GPAs for rich kids only... there have been articles about this in NYT and such. I don't really know many MDs tbf since I don't work in healthcare - Film is my vocation. The thing with medicine is that it doesn't require that one be in a Clique per se to do it like Engineering (Nerd), but GPA requirements are strict which usually counts out Losers because Loser Lose at anything/everything competitive. "Class" is more about broad sociological, socioeconomic categorisations, and tbf it doesn't really reframe things; it's just a cogent restating of the framework that everyone already acknowledges.
