Up from 163 to 176 since April. Got a little sloppy with calories so a bit more of it is fat than I wanted.
Bench Press just touched 250x5 on a strong day. Progression is definitely harder due to an old pec tear, which leads to shoulder problems moving up in weight. This is right around old pre-injury PRs I hit many years ago, so I'm happy to be back here. Have started doing a lot of face pulls and rotator cuff exercises to see if I can bust through to the next level and hit a 315 max. My lats are the thickest they've ever been and I've barely trained them directly. It turns out that good powerlifting bench form can grow lats practically by itself.
I've realized that the intermediate "strength" routines are mostly shit. They all rely heavily on 5 rep sets for "volume" days. That isn't nearly enough for hypertrophy and makes progress at the intermediate/advanced level too hard because it's too easy to miss a rep. Working with 3 sets of 10 on volume days has been much better for consistent size and strength gains. If you only hit 8-9, it's usually pretty easy to get to 10 the next workout. Then up the weight for the next.

if youre not a complete novice and youre over 30 theres no such thing as bulking without juicing. its literally insane.

Diet is mostly candy and whey protein
I take a preworkout (forgot the name) mixed with some extra creatine, scivation xtend (bcaas), and a scoop of beta alanine.
Vitamins: orange triad, along with some glucosamine, fish oil, msm
Up to this point I was mostly regaining muscle I previously had but lost due to cuts and injuries. Not sure how much more headroom I have in my bench. Then again, I never put that much thought into my training before, whereas now I'm studying a lot of different programs and periodization information to see if I can move up one more level.
My squats and deadlifts are sort of novice level due to some knee surgeries, strains etc from not getting enough sleep. There's a lot of bulk to be added there, although my ability to do so is limited by the ligaments. Once I get back to a 300 squat/400 deadlift I'll probably just chill there and be happy with that.
Btw I'm WAY over 30. I'm in my LATE 30s. Cucking young dudes in the gym way bigger than me when I load up my two plates and change on the bench.

ive never actually juiced i just know ur insane if u dont.
you should look into specific drugs for hairline/pube problems but from what i understand dick game is significantly stronger on cycle.
the only "problems" come when cycling off. question is really whether you should ever be cycling off at all

Louie Simmons: The dangers are way overrated. It's corticoid steroids that they inject football players with every day that will kill you! Personally, I've done anabolic steroids straight for the last 28 years.
T-Nation: Do you cycle?
Louie Simmons: No, I stay on. I don't believe in periodization in training, either. I use mostly anabolics like Equipoise and Laurabolin until it's time for a competition, and then I do the harder androgens. I do not take Anadrol. I've never had any problems. I know guys who take much more than I do, to the point where you can call it abuse, and they don't seem to have any problems, either. There's no possible way I can train the way I do without taking anabolics, but the same techniques of training apply even if you're natural. I've also used the andro products and find that they give a greater boost in aggression than steroids! At least temporarily. I use them right before training.
