(1) PEG is stupid because it assumes multiples are solely driven by growth (vs capital structure, ROIC, operating risk, ect). Dont think too hard about this one
(2) multiples are 100% meaningless in a vacuum. How’s twitter trading? 5x EBITDA can be enormous. 15x EBITDA can be low. We’re talking about a firm that throws off enormous cash with no debt and numerous growth drivers (Instagram, whatsapp) |
