also, thinking more on the main perp having 230 felony charges. thats damn near impossible. Cops must have dumped a few cases with like 60 car burglaries each on him at one point.
Only time Ive seen that number of charges is when a guy gets popped for trying every car door in a neighborhood, or a credit card case where you get charged with 87 times of trying to use the card.
230 felonies, 15 convictions... must be something like that. Trying to think if you can have that many charges on drug stuff. I dont think its possible unless cops undercover buy from you 60 times before arresting you. Even if it's 120 baggies, you dont get charged per baggie. 230 felony charges seems ludicrous |

I think the media's fucked up on the 230 felony charges. Even with these cases maybe having carried numerous other charges that didnt stick and assorted misdemeanors (paraphernalia, resisting without violence), he's nowhere near that number.
I knew that didnt add up.
Other possibility is juvie, which records dont show. If anything maybe he had juvie car burglaries, which is super common. I have had many juvie clients where they get caught trying handles or breaking into cars and cops then dump every car burglary in the whole town on them. 15 year old kid just eats it. PD doesnt care much, and it wont change his 2 year probation punishment and it makes the cops much friendlier. |
