We are however compelled to attain the vision which motivated that master's brilliant writing.
Perhaps one can enter the kingdom of heaven adhering to laws decreed by a man with a supreme knowledge of Christ alone, but the contemplative Christian practitioner seeks to know, as is his right, Christ for himself. |
