Harry Potter was great. I remember picking up the 4th book the day it came out and reading it on my way to play in the state Little League All Star Game.
JK Rowling should have just let her characters be rather than shoehorning contemporary virtue ethics into a child’s story whose primary appeal was an escape for readers from reality.
