Wife tried to run away from process server and storms over to his house. Her sister gets served for her while she’s banging on his (their former) front door. My wife has a friend who has the worst divorce I’ve ever observed among people I know. Had to take ex to court repeatedly for unpaid child support, dude has quit every job he’s ever had within two years and will do stuff like go buy a tricked out truck and boat when he’s unemployed and a year behind on support payments and then miss hearings or show up drunk without an attorney and attempt to represent himself pro se. He knocked up his new wife within a year of papers being filed and new wife already had three kids all under the age of 7. Now his older kids with my wife’s friend fully hate him and are counting down the days until their 18th birthday until they can never speak to him again, but still stay at his house every other weekend. Cool thing is that both the older kids have somehow used the divorce as motivation to excel and are now straight A students and star players for their high school basketball teams and are being heavily recruited by dozens of D1 programs.
