I'm lucky if I got half of those right. So, if all 10 experimental questions were ones that I missed AND the scale is easy AND I can get my firm to reassign me to Alabama I MIGHT be allowed to practice law. FUCK.

I didn't realize I was supposed to bone up on partnership law and the Federal Rules of Evidence before the exam.

I probably "knew" the answer a little less than half the time and then was guessing a little more than half the time (albeit, usually only between two of the answers).

So, .4*.9 = .6*.5 = 66% = 50/50 to pass. Yuck.

Yeah. I figure it's really a roll of the dice whether I pass this or not, and I have about the same chance of getting a 75 as I do getting 100 or so. Wonderful feeling.

yeah :(

MD and NJ know what's up... they'll accept a "C" or higher in legal ethics in lieu of the MPRE. Whereas Utah, being characteristically bizarre, requires an 86, just to have the moral highground.

you don't need MPRE at all for Maryland. But if you want to waive into DC, you need a 75.

I think NJ and CT accept passing grades in PR in lieu of the MPRE.

No.

One question about whether a law firm could incorporate as an LLC if allowed by state law. Another one about liability of partners in a general paratnership where a fellow partner had committed malpractice.

I'd guess the answers are (1) no go and (2) personal liability for the bad partner and financial liability for the other partners.
