fiction, non-fiction, tech/guide related?

Last novel was A Clockwork Orange the uncut UK version - it was actually pretty accurate descrption of whats to come in america imo at least the last chapter for sure that the jews cut out in the american book and film versions

i didnt really enjoy the fake language writing but its insane they cut the real end out

Reread Moby Dick - it's the best American novel of all time and it's not even close, its up there with Brothers K and Iliad in all time historical novels also imo, probably better than reading the bible if you're stuck and don't know what direction to go in

something invigorating and life-affirming about the book that is ineffable

i usually read like 5-8 books at same time and cycle through them, i bought Valis by Philip K Dick and look forward to trying to get through it

i've been only reading non-fiction for years so want to catch up on fictions as i think you can learn more from them somehow in the really great ones

i havn't liked dick's novels, but his sci fi short stories are truly excellent and i highly recommend them. something like 5 of them have been made into big budget movies they're so good
