My total cost basis is around $30k and i'm not looking to deploy any additional capital at this time. Here's what I have:
1 btc
10 eth
1,100 sol
Total value right now is roughly $145k. This is a significant amount for me. I don't need it for anything right now, but if I were to lose it, I would be pretty upset.
Please rate my portfolio and recommend any action from cash out now to reallocate.
Tyia.

They're not all old, but LINK has been in the works for a long time. It's different from a lot of projects in that it's not designed for scam pump and dumps, it has an actual use case and will live and die based upon whether "crypto" as a concept is accepted by financial institutions. Chainlink is building all the infrastructure to make that possible. Big names are on board in the background - there was a headline this week that Mark Cuban was working with the CEO of Chainlink on something. The consensus is that when this coin takes off, it's taking off bigly.
EDIT: Here's a screed from a month ago.

BONUS: Some of the big names associated with the project, including the former CEO of GOOGLE:

To be fair,
Co-signed.
If you believe that crypto actually will legitimately become something that has genuine technological value at some point in the future, buying LINK (which is chain-agnostic and is the only player in town at the ecosystem-critical function that it performs) is the bet you should make. Plan to HODL it for at least 5+ years minimum.
If you don't believe that, then stick with the kike casino model of crypto investing and just buy a bunch of little small cap shitcoins at the beginning of every bull and hope that one pops (this is also fine).

I'm more of a buy and hold blue chip coins because i don't follow the crypto market closely enough to have any conviction in the success of a small cap.
What is the "ecosystem-critical function" that chainlink performs? and why such a long roadmap to success? It's hard to plan crypto investing based on holding something for 5-10 years.
Appreciate any insight you have so tyvm.

Motherfucker, read the screeds. If you think crypto is going to be anything other than gambling, you need to onboard banks. Banks need to trust that crypto transactions are durable in order to be convinced to start dealing in crypto. All of Chainlink's projects involve ensuring that cross-chain transactions are durable and independently verifiable. Look into CCIP.
This is what sets Chainlink apart. No other project is doing this and no new project would be able to catch up with what Chainlink has built already at this point. There is going to come a point where banks are going to have to accept crypto transactions to survive. The first bank that does this is going to have a tremendous advantage over the others. And Chainlink is going to come in and say "we can help you be competitive, otherwise get fucked and enjoy bankruptcy."
If you're suspicious of Chainlink, what you're actually suspicious of is the viability of crypto as a concept. Completely fair opinion to have and in that case, try to ape into DOGE coin or hold Coca-cola stocks or something. But if you think crypto has a real shot of actually being what it claims to be, you would have to be an abject fucking retard not to hold LINK. There is literally nothing like it. I challenge you to find something like it.

To be fair,
Nigger why do you seem like you are struggling to read ITT?
"chances are good that you'll 10x+ within the next few years" with SOL
With LINK, we've already said that it's a much longer hold but if crypto really develops into something "real," then LINK will be the backbone and the sky is the limit

I want to believe.
The price action has been uninspiring.
It seems to have routinely bumped off a ceiling around $32, with one month of exception in April 2021.
Its $15 today which means an ath would bring about 3.5x.
Hope you get rich long term, but I dont see any kike casino rocket here in the short term, as stated above

the bet on my side, and this is 100% spec, is that the long term gains youre describing may happen, but that link will be buyable not far from current levels in any bear in the interim.
in other words, one might be able to get it around today's price in 2027 or something.
Ill KTRA myself if wrong, of course

Convert ETH to SOL. Hold or convert BTC to SOL depending on your risk preference.
SOL will outperform both

- Monolithic L1 is the superior design vs modular design of Eth L2s, on the most intuitive level.
- Tens of L2s means fragmentation of liquidity and terrible UX, for probably many more years. Infighting amongst L2s will continue for a while, confusing devs on where to build.
- Market cap is still ~10% of Eth. While major DEX on Solana doing up to 70% of volume of Eth based DEX in the recent airdrop meta.
- The only ecosystem with strong dev community and cultish user base outside of Eth.
