but a lot of it is basically that ports are cheap af to do because it’s all x86 and the Engineering is nbd. Back in the day some games would stay exclusive because who cares about Xbox/Gamecube or whatever and the extra 280k of sales and the Engineering took time. Porting something to Saturn required multiple Engineering Ph.ds including several who developed the SH-2 itself just to begin to write Code. Anyway, efficacy of ports between consoles and console to PC has increased immensely. Sony tried to use Engineering to maintain the whole Console thing with PS3 but it backfired and they just make PCs now
Still with that said I mean wtf I have a $500 PS5, yeah a $1500 PC is better but what controller do I even use? An Xbox controller? A Keyboard? Lol |
