Rarely can you ask for something like an excel sheet of people's names and emails addresses without getting some illegible color-coded gobbledygook with dozens of extra fields using some bizarre software product that no one has seen before or can edit. These tasks takes them hundreds of hours.

It takes them hours to write their stupid emails that have any content, but I find that they shoot off their hip immediately to answer any question that gets posed. They are often incorrect in their answers or at least only provide a very limited response. It's more important to be the most responsive person than to have any level of accuracy imo.

I've been at many different places at this point and I can count on one hand the amount of times I have circulated any document and gotten any substantive feedback at all. Just jackass shit like correcting spacing between sentences. It's just a huge time sink and everyone knows things would be better and easier without them there at all.

I support STRONG maternity leave packages and benefits just to get these people out of the building. Like I would pay them full salary for two years just so they leave me alone.

the "quick yet incorrect" response is very apt. women seem to value participating above all else. it doesn't matter what the substance is, they perceive whoever speaks the most to have contributed the most. whenever i'm in a meeting with more than two women i just mentally prepare to check out entirely. i'll have to wait patiently and step over someone if i have anything to contribute, but it won't matter because no one will hear it anyway. look at what happen when women get together outsider of work -- just a bunch of mindless clucking with no substance or reflection. why would we expect them to behave any differently in the workplace?

i guess god is misogynistic too. women need 10 different changes of clothes to be sure they'll be comfortable in a ~5 degree temperature spectrum.

the next step is of course to use it to avoid any work. how could you possibly expect them to work when you know they are busy fighting with little emily's lacrosse coach?
