MGS1-MGS2 are quite rare in this regard. It's an exquisite feat of Engineering to always put the camera where it should be.

FFX and Xenosaga also but these aren't very demanding.

Survival Horror Titles and other games with tank controls have a fixed camera system, but the control is Ruinous

There is something to be said for this imo.

Westerners get used to FPSs and it's normal for them.

People who aren't entrenched gamers, such as Women, usually hate having to control the "camera" constantly.

However, at the end of the day, very few 3D games lack the "camera." Kojima had to shrewdly devise the angles for every single section of MGS1-3. Fans hated it in 3 and wanted it to be like Western-developed games. Kojima eventually caved in the Subsistence re-released.

you are talking about crappy third person video games? FPS solved this decades ago. Just like you control your eyeballs and neck in real life.

This is the ultimate Gen X tell imho. They get Anxiety over having to Manage stuff like camera angles.

It's Women. Also Losers get motion sick. Basically low-T people.

It's just interesting that Kojima and PS1 survival horror games are the only ones to Engineer camera angles into the experience. Kojima is like the only one who's ever done it with a regular non-tank way of moving.
