if that were true, maybe it would make some sense, but then you'd expect to just have it as a feature people could turn on and off and not some shit that is forced down people's throats.
even taking industry numbers at face value, grok thinks it would take about 3 years to save enough gas to make up for the higher purchase price, and if you include higher ongoing maintenance costs it would be an overall expense
