The only reason it makes some sense is because you do't want too many poor people congregating in one building. But why do certain poor people win a literal lottery to get to live with rich people?
Its also funny because developers are always trying to find ways like building separate entrances to get away from it as much as possible.
Worst part of NYC laws is that so many apartments are income restricited, but you still need an enormous down payment to buy one - so literally only kids with rich parents are able to have the down payment but be below the income restriction. |
