If you're a prole, then almost anywhere in Texas is great. It's like a theme park for proles. Relatively high paying blue collar jobs, relatively low cost of living, lot of great weather, plenty of amenities. If you're a hick you can live in a rural area your whole life and never feel compelled to leave. If you like cities it's got plenty of cities.
Generally speaking the most cr place in Texas according to most educated blue state coastal elite people is Austin. It's got the most natural beauty, it's a lot more affordable than MFH or San Francisco. Yeah you get gaped on property tax but no state income tax. It's got all the culture that coastal elite people crave (although not nearly enough! if you absolutely have to go to Broadway plays or something). |
