ljl gaygpt say it comes down to your HEIGHT (im 5'11.5 btw)

Whether paying **\$24 extra for an exit row** on your **3-hour flight from Iceland to Copenhagen** is worth it depends on your priorities. Here's a breakdown:

---

## ✈️ Flight Overview

* **Route**: Iceland → Copenhagen → London

* **Flight cost**: \$279.30 total (likely includes both legs)

* **Extra seat cost**: \$24 for exit row (for just the Iceland → CPH leg)

---

## 🔍 Is It Worth \$24?

### ✅ Worth It If:

| Situation | Why |

| ------------------------------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |

| You're **tall** or dislike cramped seats | Exit rows offer **\~4–6 inches more legroom** than regular seats |

| You want **quicker boarding or deplaning** | Often located near front or mid-cabin |

| You like **fewer neighbors** | Often fewer people in these rows |

| You're on a **tight layover** in CPH | May help exit faster for your connection |

---

### ❌ Not Worth It If:

| Situation | Why |

| -------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- |

| You're **under 5'10"** and don't need legroom | Standard seat will be fine for 3 hrs |

| You're trying to **minimize total trip cost** | \$24 is \~9% of your entire airfare, not a minor markup |

| You plan to **sleep** and don't need the extra space | Exit rows often have non-reclining seats or fixed armrests |

| It's a **low-cost airline** with sparse amenities anyway | Legroom might not be dramatically better |

---

### 💡 Final Verdict:

| Priority | Recommendation |

| -------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------- |

| **Comfort over cost** | ✅ Yes, worth \$24 for 3 hours |

| **Budget over comfort** | ❌ Save the \$24 — it's a short flight |

| **Tall (6'+)** or have back/leg issues | ✅ Definitely worth it |

---

If you’re 5’10”+ or just value a more pleasant experience, the **\$24 is reasonable**. Otherwise, you could skip it and use that money toward a nicer meal in Copenhagen or London.

Let me know the airline and seat map — I can check if the exit row is actually a *good* one (some have misaligned windows or immovable armrests).

About to board a plane with my family to return home. The seats were like $3,000 and United Airlines graciously gave the aft-most row. The one where the seats don’t recline and the lav queue is all up in your business.

TSINAH, I love you, but you just don’t seem to understand the joy in a child’s eyes and what that does for you. It’s a 180 feeling.

I hope you have some kids before your clock runs out.

lol. Obviously you’re never been to Disneyland which is about 1 trillion times better than Magic Kingdom. It actually feels magical whereas the Orlando resorts just feel like Orlando.

TSINAH went to SoCal for a weekend, rented a convertible, and drove all the way to San Diego for the Zoo and acts like that is the only thing worth seeing in California.

Guess what TSINAH? When I was in Monterey last month I skipped the aquarium. I know. I suck, right? Also I rented a Nissan Altima for my trip down Hwy 1 to Big Sur, not some convertible. Come at me.

I've been to CA probably 15 times in my life. That was just one of those times.

But yes, driving to the San Diego Zoo from LA in a mustang gt convertible was a lot of fun.
