Anyway they had the Brewers - Dodgers game on and he started loudly scoffing every time an impressive play was made. Guy at the bar says "did you used to play or something?' And friend said "Used to? I'm a current Savanna Banana player." Then instead of being impressed they said those dudes were washed out single A theater kids and probably homosexuals. He tried to drag me into it by saying I play for the team too. I went along with it meekly but it didn't help at all. Eventually the whole place was jeering us and telling us there was a gay bar a few blocks away. The manager asked us to leave. |
