Whats the prestige mark, 1/100? 1/200? 1/1000?

i dunno that a standardized test itself is prestigious. a 175, in my mind, creates a rebuttable presumption that you're probably a really sharp dood.

Depends on the group. I'd say 1/1000, although at the CC it's likely anything above the median.

dude, that's like thinking a 1400 SAT is prestigious. That doesn't change it from being 95th percentile.

of course. what are there, six? seven law schools in all? just getting in is a longshot if you're outside the 99th percentile LSAT. still, you'll likely have to go to columbia or chicago or some other school in the bottom half. ( i work with a guy who didn't even get into harvard. unfucking believable.)

174 LSAT is the beginning of "reasonably impressive," in my opinion. It's above the median at YHS.

Top 5% is not prestigious. If you are top 5% then all that means is that in any random group of 14 LSAT takers you are 50% likely to have the highest score in the group, does that sound impressive?

Top 1% is the absolute minimum impressive score.
