Nobody has taken credit for it, and he has never reappeared. He was obviously the greatest schtick ever on this board. I find it disappointing that it just faded into oblivion.

Not the sn. I don't think I've seen that in more like 2 years (kills self). But people like Caesar and nomoreoldpeople, along with a handful of other people who change their monikers a lot more frequently just really call to mind his hateful, bitter style (minues the handicapped daughter, of course).

Did Jinx ever have a shtick you could readily characterize in a few words? It's not like he posted "white girls, asian guys" in his threads. He was just a general agitator, and quite good at it.
And I expect he's still here from time to time, under different monikers.
Yeah, under different monikers, but usually people who change monkiers either admit to using others or come back from time to time under their original moniker.
I suspect all the recent possible incarnations are imitators. I am just amazed that with as popular as he was, nobody has come back with the original moniker or proved that they were behind it.

I'll let someone else go into detail, but he created this elaborate thing about being a GW student who had a daughter in a wheelchair. Shomer figured out who the GW student was, but it turned out that mr jinx wasn't actually that person. He was just using this person's life for his schtick.

there are some posters whose entire posting expression comes from a variety of shtick monikers. they're not regulars like you or rowan or whoever. so what would it mean for one shtick handle to take credit for another?
