i don't know what a "jung expert" entails. i have not read his collected works in full, and i am much more interested in his later, mystical works than his earlier or mid-life psychological works. i am interested in the jung of "answer to job", of "aion", of "memories, dreams, reflections", of the "liber novus." i have read some of edinger, i have read james hollis, i have read murray stein, i have attended a bunch of jung institute lectures. i have done therapy with a jungian-adjacent therapist. i have read jung's letters to and from james kirsch.
still, this doesn't make me, i think, a jung scholar or expert. i own dozens of works by and about jung and his associates that i have not yet read. my work begins from a metaphysical point jung articulated and then pulled back from, which he did (from what i see) for good reason
by contrast, i have never engaged with jordan peterson, who seems to me to be a highly mentally ill crybaby, although i'm sure this is reductionist

I have enjoyed reading Jung. Coincidentally, I know Murray Stein. He was my therapist for a while when he had an office in Wilmette. Helped me with a major life change. Have corresponded with him a few times. Wonder if I’m in any of his books?

I last heard from him a year ago. It was email, but he seemed fine. He's in Switzerland, of course. I didn't know anything about Jungian analysis, but was referred to him by someone I know. There was a lot of emphasis on dreams. Sounds like hocus-pocus, but consulting with him was extremely helpful. I was completely fried and looking at a major change. That was nearly 30 years ago.

I was thinking he was around 40, although being into weird religious stuff is zoomer-coded. Do you remember when consuela started poasting? I don't, but seems like he has been around since at least 2016.
