The other side of this is Iran has proven it can take the world hostage to meet its demands and apparently always could have, our deterrence means nothing and the entire political order of the middle east based on American deterrence means nothing. This is a fundamental problem even without Israel Iran, and we now have a situation over time where there is no rational reason for Iran to not increasingly demand more and essentially extort every GCC country for keeping the peace. This can actually work for a while but it will cause conflict eventually but likely we won't get to that point before Israel Iran boils over.

Which leads to the of course real fundamental problem, that we can't have real conflict with Iran without truly destroying the world order as we know it and likely our Republic in the process. Short sighted internet idiots keep talking about mid term election losses because of this conflict, when the truth is if it really becomes what it is destined do we will lose collective modern human civilization. So that's a price of course no one is prepared to pay, even Trump who finally seems like he got this explained to him with clarity over the past couple months but it doesn't make the fundamental problem less and is also inherently unacceptable at a national integrity level for us to do the only solution which is abdicate our position and give the middle to Iran as regional hegemon with Chinese backing. But that looks like what we are doing but ultimately the "machinery" here won't allow it, which brings us back to the cost to-high-to-pay for true middle east destruction war with Iran problem.

But even assuming we did, made the calculation to essentially dismantle ourselves in current form and change fundamental strategic posture for the sake of humanity, that's going to mean vacuums everyone intuitively understands that we don't really have to get into about Russia and China and Europe and Asia. And all this is easy enough to analogize but we're in the WWIIII nuclear war mass death and biological weapons era now so we've never really had to handle it before.

I guess I should correct the above that the only real answer is absolute American surrender multiple fronts, but we will dissolve if that happens and current life standards won't be possible even as hard as they are now.

And none of that still solves pressing problem that Israel cannot as matter of law of physics accept this peace deal or current situation so will at some point have to do something.

So that's first issue, not even getting into the national debt inflation death loop devaluation of all global value - which already happened in 2008 and has just been fraud since then but that's coming at some point soon. We're well and truly out, out of the fraud to keep it all together.

That's about the only 2 things really that are going to have to result in fundamental very very shitty reorganization of life as we know of on the ground over next 5 years.
