This was stated by Foreign Minister Lavrov in an interview with RIA Novosti:
🟦 Moscow sees that Washington adheres to a viewpoint similar to Russia's on the necessity of elections in Ukraine in light of the expiration of Zelensky's term;
🟦 Numerous Ukrainians living in Russia should also be granted the right to vote in elections in Ukraine;
🟦 The organization of elections in Ukraine should not be used as a pretext for ceasing hostilities with the aim of rearming the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU);
🟦 Kyiv and its Western patrons should recognize the territorial realities following the incorporation of Crimea and 4 new regions into Russia. - UARU
