Why are women better at judging facial expressions than men?

Date: June 25th, 2025 9:46 AM Author: aphrodisiac house I have read a few psychology articles and women tend to outperform men in being able to accurately connect expressions to moods and feelings.
Does it have to do with evolving to raise infants and young non-verbal children? Even if so why wouldn't men evolve this trait also? Seems like it would be beneficial in tasks men evolved to excel at, like dealing with potentially hostile strangers. |
