Date: June 7th, 2025 12:45 PM Author: topaz buck-toothed theatre I’m on the fence about them. We use them for very limited things: broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, and the occasional supermarket crap apps (nuggs, wings, poppers, spring rolls, etc.) during football games.
TBH the “sped convect” setting on my 10yo oven does almost as good of a job and takes just a little longer, and there is way less plastic. Can always put things under the broiler for a few mins to crisp/brown if needed. The air fryer is all plastic, and washing the gay little basket and the tray with 120 nooks and crannies sucks if you care at all about it actually being clean (which I presume most people do not).
It also takes up 2-3 ft^3 in our suburban kitchen, which I don’t think is worth it. |
