Date: June 26th, 2025 12:21 AM Author: Hateful odious giraffe boltzmann this sort of thinking is produced disproportionately amongst many peoples of a similar bearing---armenians, igbe, sunni muslims, a couple others. jews do have quite a bit of people with the "lawful evil" disposition within their ranks, this much is true. i think it comes from the disconnect between the different codes of laws that they're forced to operate under outside of jewish controlled polities as well as regular old communal moral corrosion from the stagnating systems that define the "late modern" epoch that wind up oppressing and chipping away at any of our moral armors and forcing "crabs in a bucket" type behaviors amongst even the most brotherly of population segments. i also see "lawful neutral" and occasionally "lawful good" within jewish outcomes even if the latter is lamentably scarce when facing outwards towards the populations they habituate amongst. personally? i blame the rabbinical authorities, as well as some myopia regarding a couple elements of the noahide being applied to foreign populations with a different bent, set of tendencies, and general ethical or cultural direction. and this ties back in to questions of what "Zionism" really is, how it's produced, and what its character is like. where this line of debate is leading is outside of the scope of this thread, though it is an interesting one and of something i've given a lot of thought to personally |
