Just map network drives onto your Mac or whatever and VPN into your NAS whenever you're not home. All your documents, pictures, etc from all your devices go to the NAS, and you can lose up to two hard drives at once without losing any data. Plug it into a UPS if you're worried about that, the Amazon Basics ones are fine. |

These peripherals aren't Mac compatible, oh, you don't have enough ports for this stuff but you really shouldn't have that many external peripherals anyway, oh you want to play video games no don't do that.
However, if I could get a macbook pro for work I would. Mac/ios equipment ages better than windows/android equipment. I just upgraded an iPhone pro max 11 to an iPhone pro max 14 and the 11 was still very fast and worked really well. Old windows/android stuff is always palpably slow. |
