I may keep my condo in usa. I may also buy an apt in Moscow without reporting it. And will rent in france. I think a good tax rate is 100k/yr for 401k to roth conversions and the rest needs to be cap gains/dividends from brokerage and to keep cap gains under 15%+niit, max is 600k income. Date: August 4th, 2025 10:51 AM Author: Slimy Meetinghouse Striped Hyena full retirement probably $10m. we are at $2.5m in retirement accounts and around 500k in taxable investment accounts. we have enough that i'd be comfortable cutting back to a lower paying job anytime because by the time we are 60, the 2.5 mil should be well over 10 million.
my current plan is to do the firm another 3 years and then either hang out a shingle as a labor arbitrator or go in house. not sure about the latter bc i haven't had a boss in 7 years and i don't react well to someone having authority over me. we'll see what unfolds. |
