Also lots of mid-career cops push more like $200k with OTmaxxing and they can watch college football on their phones and retire with pension while in 40s or 50s depending on location. also the riskier it is the more insane shit they can get away with. like if you're in the CIA running drugs or whatever, you're walking around with millions of unaccountable dollars and an expense account and private jets. your salary isn't great but you're about as close as a god on earth as it gets. and when it's over you can write a book, go on tv, and cop consultant money, or probably waltz into any high end federal desk job you want.
local cops hanging out with bikers is less glamorous, but it beats writing traffic tickets and responding to domestic violence calls all day. |
