Maybe he's fortunate to have a few genes to help him defy his fate a few years but it will catch up soon enough and one suspects it's already starting to as his boasts of St. Tropez and easy conquests of nubile tanned girls rings more hollow than true, at a minimum, not entirely honest.
Better to have become a fat middle aged man whiling away his days at country clubs and a sinecure family office job, with a fading blond wife and a few spoiled kids. At least there's contentment and company, for blood is always thicker than water. The routines of a comfortable life and watching your kids grow up is something I'd never trade for whatever it is that RSF calls life, even if he has many more millions.
