Seventh-round picks get slightly better deals and more job security, but they’re still not guaranteed a roster spot—many get cut too.
In some cases, it is better to go undrafted: you avoid being tied to a team that doesn’t fit your skill set and can negotiate with multiple suitors. But the downside is zero guaranteed money and no draft pedigree helping your cause. |
