well for one thing, the nonorganic turkey has a ton of antibiotics. so there's that.

I cant find it but they also found that while there is a strong correlations between eating red meat and heart disease in the United States, no such correlation exists in Europe. Its not red meat that is bad for us, it is American, hormone treated, corn fed red meat that is bad for us.

we don't have a pope so there's nobody to declare who is wrong or right on these questions, but the overwhelming view among the greatest authorities of the 20th c. is that thanksgiving is fine but there are minority opinions such as this one.
