Who the fuck do they think they are? Do you think the serfs in medieval times took to the streets whining about deserving a 75k bale of hay and sheep hide salary a year, or were they happy with their subsistence wages, mead, and feast days off, and did they shut the fuck up and be glad for what they got.
Furthermore, I am not going to subsidize some lazy boomer business owner who doesn't want to pay his people enough. That is their own goddamn problem, not mine. I will give you your 10% but get out of my fucking face about more than than unless something amazing happens. When I was a kid it was 10%...then 15%...now it is "magically" 20% expected tip. Get the fuck out of here with that shit.
It is also helpful that all waiters and delivery people these days are pencil-necked dork millennials, the least confrontational generation ever. Even if they are seething mad about their 10% tip, they will never say/do anything about it. Even then, they should take that rage and direct it at getting a better fucking job.
Only exception is at bars, but even then just give them a buck a drink. |
