Part of the reason they latched onto Karlstack is because of some shit they are doing with this college called New School. I never heard of the New School until I read about how the Manhattan Institute had taken it over. It was also at that time that I realized how influential Rufo was at the MI. That made me sad because I used to think highly of the Manhattan Institute, but it seems like it got skinsuited around the time Peter Huber got sick and had to retire.
Anyway that's why Karlstack got his big lift from that org in particular. That's WHY it was Rufo. They were already pushing "academic reform" at the New School when this happened. |
