Is there ANY way human existence will not be mediated thru screens?

This looks like such a losing battle I am at odds with myself.
Maybe it really is existential, The Battle for Humanity etc, and all that matters is fighting valiantly, brothers in arms against the great screen darkness
Or maybe the seemingly impossible odds just suggest this is a dumb fight. Like some leathermaker fighting the Industrial Rev. Adapt, move on, accept the new world.
Where the rubber hits the road for me is kids. I delay screens for young ones, constantly discipline old ones for screen time, but I turn around and three new screens have appeared.

yeah electricity must have been a mindfuck. Entire way of life - chilling by the fire, singing songs, telling stories - gone.
when i am optimistic I think there have been many of these changes, going all the way back to fire, and that responsible-fathers who see how hard-won traditions are just carry nonstop stress that all is being lost, and that's just normal human experience.
when i am pessimistic I think virtual reality and screens are more insidious than all the other shit, even mass production factory life and urbanization, and that we really might be at the end, starting with our own kids being lost
