It appears to be a serious degradation of Russia's bomber arm, and there's no reason to think that Ukraine won't be able to do exactly the same thing in 6 months. Or to go after all civilian air travel.
Can Putin get away with just ordering an (ineffective) Oreshnik strike in retaliation for this? Can he get away with it again next time when Ukraine does exactly the same thing again?
