all that other shit, like "best lawyers" and law dragon, etc. are all a popularity contest and worthless.
example, at my last firm, i was the only traditional labor lawyer. as much as i suck at most things in life, i happen to be really good at that. the "best lawyers" list came out, and there were 3-4 employment litigators at my firm listed on the "management - labor" best of list. i was not on it.
those rankings are all a joke. chambers is legit, though, and they really vet you. |

There appears to be some pretty bad ratings creep as it relates to the lower bands (B3 and below) and even some of B2. B1 and above still looks legit. they did that when i was at baker donelson, which i'd classify as midlaw. |
