Ping is the most reputable brand of any major and I would trust any club from them from any year over some gook factory slop from Titleist

Date: August 4th, 2025 9:48 AM Author: jock itch I have ping irons though I don't care much for them. they also have an issue with the epoxy they use to assemble the clubs. my 5 and 7 iron have both had the head fly off twice now (7 iron was yesterday, 5 was a few weeks ago). same thing happened to a guy I played with last fall who had G whatever cavity backs. head just comes loose and flies forward. not very confidence inspiring.
titleist DCIs were lightyears above anything Ping had at the time. AP2s were hot dogshit. I've never hit the current T100s, but that's where I'm leaning. also may just put my 962b irons back in the bag.
Point anyways was that ping had the goofy eye2 style head that certain ppl loved and they moved away from it after the ISIs. |
