I'm fuming rn. Long story short:

Guest purchased FSD during their trip without communicating it with me. I invoiced them for that, and Turo canceled my invoice because the guest didn't explicitly want to pay for FSD. Although they personally purchased and used it for 2+ weeks.

On top of that, Turo fined me $50 for the "improper reimbursement request"

A similar situation has happened to me when the guest went to Tesla diner and paid for a family meal using my card through a Tesla laptop. Guest was ghosting me, and Turo didn't want to approve reimbursement invoice because "I, as a host, need to have guests agree to pay for their French fries they bought with my card during their trip". And if they don't respond, then you're out of luck.

The solution that turo reps are offering are funny: they either a) want me to unlink my card, which will stop any Tesla supercharging since there is no card on file;

or b) they ask me to add FSD as an extra add-on, even though there is no option for that (and this still isn't solving the Tesla Diner charges)

For more than a year, I tried requesting a normal policy for these situations, or at least an actual FSD add-on option in the list of extras. Nothing happened. That's very frustrating, and is becoming unmanageable with the fleet growth.

TL;DR when guests purchase FSD or pay for Tesla diner orders/Tesla merch using your Tesla laptop, Turo won't allow you to invoice them.
