Worked out this AM, had a decent breakfast. Took first shot (0.25mg). Working from home today. Decided to make lunch - prepared tuna salad. Eating it felt weird - I only finished about half a can. No bread. Feel full without any desire to snack or anything. This stuff only really kicks in fully in a day or so, and you really need to increase doses to have the full effect. But many seem to report lower appetite within hours like I have. I may have the rest for dinner, and that may be it for the day.
Looking to lose about 50lbs in 4 months. I think that is doable as long as I keep up with cardio and weight lifting. Need to figure out how to get more protein though (will likely start shakes)

No idiot. GLP1's don't make you keep up with cardio and weight lifting. They make you eat less. That's the fucking key.

Being a fan of good food and good alcohol
I have worked out consistently since high school, so just a lot of calories. Some people like to eat. Also I carry weight pretty well, so people are always surprised when they hear the actual lbs
FWIW, at weights from 210 to 225 are when I actively get hit on by women, if that is any indicator

That’s a bodybuilding target. For maintenance in a significant caloric deficit, that’s probably going to be too much (especially if you can’t eat that much). I’m starting at 125-150 grams and going from there.
Two eggs and fruit for breakfast this AM
Cup of soup for lunch
Chicken breast and broccoli for dinner

Weighed in at 238 today. I moved up to the 5 MG shot earlier this week.
1) I have noticed more dizziness on a day to day basis. I did leg day in the gym - ended up getting up to 5x265. Also added kettlebell goblet squat, leg press (600+ lb), etc. I almost fainted in the gym several times
2) 5MG makes it even harder to eat carbs. I am also noticing it is harder to drink alcohol - particularly beer.
3) probably eating about 1,000 to 1,500 calories a day. Today, I had a 200 calorie smoothie, about to have a 300-400 calorie omelette, finishing up with chicken breast and asparagus for dinner
4) I met my tailor earlier this week - she confirmed I lost several inches in my chest and waist.
I expect to be close to 230 by mid May, and close to 220 by mid June.

1. Dizziness and fatigue is a normal side effect of taking the shot. My doctor recommended that I split up my dosage into 2 shots every 3 days. I did that I no longer felt any side effects and was able to exercise more consistently.
2. I also lost the desire to drink once back on the shots. Even when I do drink, I can't finish the entire glass.
3. Has your desire to gobble cock increased much?

Every 10 lbs you lose, you gain an inch on your dick.
So your desire to slobber on a thick veiny hard one is low, but it's not 0%?
Is that right?

Starting to get multiple comments a week on how I have lost weight. Slower weight loss recently though, at 234 this AM.
The most surprising thing to me is that I have been able to continue to increase my lifts as I have been losing weight. Not sure how long that will last. This past week I benched 225x6 and squatted 275x8. Neither are my one rep max right now or anything, but I have been able to continue to push my weights as I lose weight.
Hopefully, I as cross 225 lbs on the downside in bodyweight, I can hit 225x8 on the bench.

232 this AM, so only about a pound or two over the past week. That said, stepping up to the next dose (7.5mg) next week. Looking forward to breaking 230 by next Friday. Looking forward to breaking 220 by the end of June. Pushing towards 200 by Labor Day.
Almost fainted in the gym today, but still put up big weight on the incline bench press. Dizziness is likely related to low blood pressure - I have consistently been in the 100- 105 / 60 - 70 range on my home cuff recently

Went to an event last weekend - got multiple comments on both how I lost weight and how I am looking jacked
Took second shot of next dose yesterday. Appetite suppression is getting stronger
Squatted 8x305 today. I will squat three plates next week - not sure the last time I have done that.
Meeting with trainer on Saturday - thinking about purchasing 10 sessions to supercharge weight loss in June
Won’t weigh in again until Monday, but feel like I have lost a few lbs since last post
These are truly wonder drugs

Hit 229 on the scale today. Will be under 215 or so by August
1) Got blood work - massive improvement over three months in blood sugar, red blood cells, cholesterol
2) Saw cardiologist, she was super happy with progress, especially blood pressure
Going up in dose in a couple of weeks. Also my lifts have gotten hugely better.

People are now starting to ask if I am losing weight voluntarily - lol. Maybe I need to slow it up and lift more.
Three month checkup with doc tomorrow. Will ask her next steps and pacing. My original 50 lbs in 4 months goal is squarely achievable with another 10-15 lbs by the end of July.

Had to buy new pants - a solid 36 in slim fit chinos (J Crew, Ralph Lauren, etc). Also a solid large in basically all shirts instead of an XL. Neck size down about half an inch. I will probably be in size 34 pants in a couple months. I’ve basically never been a 34 in pants since I got to adult size (sometime in high school).
The tailored clothing I bought when I was around 240 generally still fits, but loose. Many of my suits are now too big. Will get some recut. I now realize that I bought nice made to measure suits when I was ~275 to make myself feel better. Wasted tens of thousands of dollars. Never again. Off the rack now works and is cheaper (even nice brands).

215 this AM. Consistently getting comments on my weight loss. Consistently getting people looking at me on the street as I swap out looser clothes for better fitting clothes and my muscles start to pop out of my shirts.
Also - starting to build back up squats, deadlifts and bench press after dropping a bit due to weight loss. I hope to get back up to 5x225 on the bench - but by that time, I will be ~195 pounds, instead of doing it at ~265-270 pounds.

A couple of weeks ago, I stalled a bit on the scale - but breaking through the past week. 209 this AM after my running class. Now getting compliments, stares and other reactions essentially every day.
What's better is that I am gaining muscle again - thanks to my trainer, and also due to the fact my caloric deficit has gotten smaller (as I have dropped weight, my calorie needs have declined, so more calories/protein can go to preserving and building muscle and strength).
Back, biceps, arms are starting to pop out. I can notice the slightest appearance of abs as well. In 10-15 pounds, I will have visible abs for the first time in my life. Will try to make sure that happens with more core work. My immediate goal is 199 or less by the time I have a doctors appointment at the end of this month.
Dudes earlier in this thread were saying 185 could't be achieved. I can easily hit that by Thanksgiving, about a month earlier than my original goal. Question is do I want to hit it. I think I will slow the lb loss down and focus on building muscle in the 190s.

- If “cheating” adds 15-20 years to my life, fine
- I work out hard 25-27 times a month, which has obviously helped everything. Trainers have commented on increased cardio endurance and performance in my workouts for example. Being lighter helps, but GLP1 s don’t push you harder in the gym - you have to do that yourself
For those significantly overweight or obese - the combination of a GLP-1 and hard exercise seems to be the best option
The first step is going to your doctor and asking for the prescription. The second step is figuring out your diet. The third step is getting into the gym. Doing all that, and the weight drops and the muscle pops

5 months
Step 1 helps with diet. It also helps with stuff like insulin resistance and allegedly makes fat cells more active, but for me, it mainly just makes it easier to lock the diet in.

I just started the drug last week. 6’3” 300 lbs so I’m trying to lose 100 lbs and at this point willing to try anything. Side effects have been strange for me. I’m on the lowest dose and have trouble eating 1200 calories. It’s also caused vivid lucid dreams and headaches but no GI problems. The headaches went away after 48 hours so now I just have the dreams and feel full all the time. I’ve already lost 5 lbs in one week.
