Not sure what I was in hs. Genre defying. I had 1 friend in every clique but belonged to No Group. They called me the antisocial social butterfly. Beloved by many, reciprocated to none. All my best friends and gfs went to other high schools because I didn't get on much with my hometown. Hometown was a wealthy elite lib enclave full of hideous JAPs and fingerwagging blue hairs. Whole town fetishized gay men. I slummed it with blue collars and nons from shittier towns. I should have been a dirtbag but parents had too much money. I was Too Poor to vacation with RSF type heirs (hence the obvious resentment) but my house was too big to be relatable to the Middle Class. I have long identified with Don Quixote who in the story was a Hidalgo, basically a poor nobleman. Inheritor of Land but not so much land that it could generate enough money to live large. Think turbo UMC but never UHNW. This is because my Dad hated being a Partner so he rejected equity and was like just pay me in cash I don't really care. I think on some level he never wanted to be insanely rich. Weird mental hangup about massive wealth.
Doubt I fit into any of cg's Cliques. |

IIRC in classical clique theory if you inherit Land you are a Prep. Plus you are from a UMC area. Maybe a Prep? But sounds like there are some Loser features in there too given you are a self-defined wordcel and also are talking like you were an underdog misfit. Need cowgod to weigh in on this.
I have a similar background btw, and identify as a Loser. I hung out with a mix of Preps and Losers (no nerds) in hs with maybe a few scumbags mixed in here and there. Most of them were either UMC or UC Liberals though. |

If he aced OCI and had a high as fuck GPA relative to SAT or LSAT and didn't wear a retarded black suit to OCI or anything and wore Abercrombie in 2001 I'd be willing to hear him out if he insists he was a Prep. but if you really have to ask and if is literally saying he was cool with everyone but not in a Clique, that is a classic, CLASSIC Loser archetype.

Didn’t realize preps got a high as fuck gpa relative to gre/lsats. Maybe they get better grades automatically due to phenotype? I got a high as fuck gre and lsat relative to gpt but it was all downstream of loserdom (too lazy to go to class so got auto points off, handed stuff in late etc.). Isnt high tests scores more nerd-coded and atypical of Losers? Thought Losers got average test scores but were inexplicably good at writing speaking and learning foreign languages |

Like I did all the work and wasn't even mentally ill and it was just liberal arts. but if you get like 2 Questions wrong out of 10 you're fucked, that's 8/10 which is like a 2.6666 GPA equivalent. Maybe at HYS they let you do Extra Credit or something idk. Same BS in Law School. I guess since I'm Old that there were vestigial Gen X GPA practices still in place at my law school. Gen X GPAs were deflated in order to impoverish them.
a lot of times with GPA people try to talk their way out of it by claiming an Upward Trend. The Upward Trend is a subtle phenotype signal. smaller classes in upper level classes means more phenotype visibility. I had a Downward Trend. |
