Just make sure it's a fantastic solo location and not some chain "Montessori" scam. Decent daycare is usually between 2.5-3K+ per month if you're in a big city.

They don’t have 12 hour daycares. Most cities have a place that starts super early for nurses etc. but that’s usually 6 AM. And there’s usually one that offers as late as 7 PM depending on where you are in the country.
The prices change drastically based on where you are, which hours you are going to send the kid, and for how many hours. (It’s more expensive to drop off at 9:30 AM and pick up at 6:30 than to drop off at 8:30 and pick up at 5:30, for example.)
The contract terms will also vary. Most of these places are month to month, but some offer a discount if you sign a 1 year contract.

$2.5-$3k/month in a HCOL city or suburb for a nice, full-time daycare. It's not unusual to find ones open from 7:30 or 8:00 am to 6:00 or 7:00 pm.
What do you mean by commitment? Some will let you go 2 or 3 days a week. I haven't heard of any requiring you to pay more than a month in advance or give more than 1 or 2 months notice when leaving. Good ones will have a wait list and fill the spot immediately.
Ask about:
Are all activities included? Some will charge a base rate, then more if you want your kid to do music or yoga, instead of sitting quietly by herself while her friends do music.
Are they open during the summer? Some close. That's great or a huge burden, depending on your schedule.
