a lot of it was like "we object to the extent that ......" kind of thing so I defended it as being "if" it became necessary we objected to whatever, even on responses where we did produce documents and/or answer the ROG. biglaw dude was like "uh huh" in like a "sure, little bro" kind of way |

Gibson Dunn stated twenty-three (23) "general objections" to our doc requests in the Frito case, and when I sent them a M&C letter citing a couple d.c. opinions that general objections are invalid, they were like, "okay, nevermind then." They also dropped 90% of the bullshit objections they made to specific requests.
Everyone does it. And no one knows why. |
